Children don't generally have hot water bottles. But Prevention town thought this a very worthy share for any Adults out there who have been having a hot water bottle rather than turn the heating up Please check yours has the Kite Safety standard mark, and fill it safely.

Such tragic news, our thoughts are with the family at this truly devastating time.

Sophie Firth spent nine days fighting for life in hospital after the tragic accident at the house in Skellow, South Yorkshire, but succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday.

Prevention Town are holding a Child Safety Day at Jungle Adventure in Colchester on the 23rd October 2012. Jungle Adventure have very kindly sponsored “our Mick Kool” so we can get out there and raise awareness and prevent more children being scalded by our hot drinks!
