Its return shows just how important wetland restoration and management are for protecting rare wildlife.

Our photo of the week comes from Adam Moore. 🐦

The tiny wren, with its typically cocked tail, is a welcome and common visitor to gardens across town and countryside. It builds its domed nests in sheltered bushes and rock crevices.

Share your recent wildlife photos in the comments for them to be considered as our photo of the week. 👇

Help save Arena Essex 🚨

Once a raceway, Arena Essex is now a thriving wildlife haven home to rare bees, butterflies, wildflowers and nightingales. Plans for a Google data centre would destroy over 80% of its valuable habitats, including irreplaceable Thames Terrace Grassland.

Essex Wildlife Trust is supporting Buglife's campaign to protect this special place.

✍️Please sign the petition and help show that nature is worth protecting.
