We asked some of our PTA members and their children which raffle prizes they’d most love to win at this year’s Summer Fai r… and here are their top picks! 🌟

🚂 Henry (Y4) is hoping for an AirHop voucher and a trip to EARM because he loves football and trains.

🦁 Kathryn (Y4 mum) would love tickets to Call of the Wild Zoo for a family day out somewhere new.

💆‍♀️ Jen (YR mum) has her eye on a Beauty at the Bay voucher for some well-deserved pampering.

🍌 William (YR) can’t wait for the chance to win a Go Bananas voucher so he can enjoy a fun-filled day with his brothers.

Our much‑loved Rock Hunt is back and brighter than ever!

A total of 28 beautifully painted rocks will be hidden around the Summer Fair THIS SATURDAY … can you find them?

We’ve nominated Myland for the National Book Tokens Schools Prize and every nomination boosts our chances of being chosen.

It takes less than a minute, and your support could help us transform our school library.

🎟️✨ A Huge Thank You to Our 2026 Summer Fair Raffle Sponsors! ✨🎟️

We’re sending a massive Myland PTA thank‑you to all the brilliant local businesses who have donated prizes to this year’s Summer Fair Raffle.

Their generosity means we’ve got some truly amazing prizes up for grabs - but you need to be in it to win it!

🎒 Raffle tickets were sent home in bags before half term, so please have a look if you haven’t already. If you’ve run out (it happens!), extra books are available from the school office.

📝 Please return all completed stubs by Friday 19th June so they can be entered into the draw.

Every ticket sold helps us raise funds for the children of Myland School and supports the wonderful local businesses who support us.

Celebrating the people who make our events possible 💛💚💙

Every year, our Summer Fair comes to life thanks to the incredible parents and children who volunteer their time and their stories say it all.

From Coen, who “loved being on the other side” and can’t wait to help on Beat the Goalie to Rex, who had a blast running the chocolate stall handling money, handing out prizes, and soaking up the excitement.

Our parent story shares an honest account of someone who pushed through anxiety to help with setup and discovered just how much work goes into these events, to finding joy in a simple role like greeting families at the gate, supporting craft activities in the shade, and now can’t wait to run Hook‑a‑Duck this year 🦆

These stories remind us of something important:
Volunteering isn’t about having lots of time, it’s about doing what you can. Every role matters. Every shift helps. And every volunteer makes a difference to our children.

Meet Emily, one of our amazing Year 3 pupils 💛

She volunteered at last year’s Summer Fair and this year she’s created this colourful poster to share some great reasons why YOU should volunteer too.

Emily highlights how helping at the fair:
* Raises money for our school
* Allows you to meet new people
* Is a helpful way of supporting us

Volunteering is great for our children, as it helps build skills including:
* Counting and organisation
* Giving instructions and supporting visitors

It’s also a great way to build confidence - we love the statements of affirmation Emily! 💪❤️

But most importantly it’s great fun!

Her enthusiasm is fantastic but she’s absolutely right. Volunteering is a great way to give something back to a cause that’s very close to all of our hearts 🥰

Absolutely — yes! 🎉

We know families want to support the fair and make memories together. The good news is you don’t have to choose. There are lots of ways to volunteer while still enjoying the day with your children.

Here are some great options:
🧒 Children helping on the stall — Many children love getting involved. They can help with simple tasks like handing out prizes or giving out purchased products. It builds confidence, teamwork, and real‑world life skills.
🎪 Bounce wristbands — With our unlimited bounce wristband offer, your child can enjoy time on the bouncy castle with friends while you volunteer nearby. Input the discount code VOLUNTEER to receive 50% off.

Our Summer Fair is just around the corner, and we need your help to make the Teddy Tombola extra magical.

If you have any pre‑loved soft toys or teddies in good condition, we’d love to give them a new home.

Every donation helps us create a joyful moment for another child at the fair.
