We're pleased to introduce Cezary Milewicki as the new Home Manager at Mellish House Residential Home in Sudbury, Suffolk!

What makes this extra special? While Cezary is new to Mellish House, he isn't new to Caring Homes. He's been part of our family for 13 years, most recently as Deputy Manager at Hillside Care Home, so this is a well-earned promotion for someone who truly lives and breathes our values.

I enjoy building long-term, meaningful relationships with residents and their families. There is nothing better than seeing a resident thrive because they feel valued, respected and cherished.

I believe in transparency and active involvement from the very beginning. My goal is to maintain an open door policy where families feel heard and supported through every step of the transition.

The heart of a home is its people. A home feels right when there's a real sense of warmth, a dedicated team that treats residents with dignity, and a community where residents still have a voice in their daily lives.

On a fun note, Cezary unwinds through photography and music (a big David Bowie and Pink Floyd fan ๐ŸŽธ), and shares his home with quite the menagerie, including a dog, a hedgehog, a spider, and 14 guinea pigs! ๐Ÿฆ”

Huge congratulations to Kasheta Burgess, Care Assistant at Castle View Nursing Home, who has been named our ๐‹๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ง๐ž๐ซ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก for May while studying her Level 3 in Adult Care!

๐Ÿ† A huge congratulations to Rajaa and Cathy from Benson House Care Home following their recent success at the Oxfordshire Care Awards! ๐Ÿ’œ

Rajaa won the Care Home Worker Award, while Home Manager Cathy was one of four finalists in the Nursing Practice award, a fantastic achievement for both.

Awards like these are a wonderful reminder of the dedication, compassion and commitment shown by our teams every day. So much of the exceptional care delivered across our homes happens quietly behind the scenes and often goes unrecognised, making achievements like these especially meaningful.

Well done, Rajaa and Cathy and thank you for everything you do for residents and their families. ๐Ÿ‘
