🌻🌻 Sunflower Showdown – and we have a winner! 🌻🌻

To celebrate 60 years of MacIntyre, we challenged everyone to see who could grow the tallest sunflower… and wow, did you rise to the challenge! 🌱🌻

We had lots of fantastic entries, with some seriously impressive sunflowers towering over us all! 👏💚

But there can only be one Sunflower Champion… 🏆🌻

🎉 Congratulations to GEMMA – our overall winner! 🎉

Your sunflower reached new heights and clearly had its sights set on the sky! ☀️

A huge thank you and well done to everyone who took part. We’ve loved seeing all your sunflower-growing efforts and watching our 60th anniversary celebration bloom! 🌻💛

🌟 Employee of the Month - Winner 🌟

We are incredibly proud of Steve, who was nominated for MacIntyre's Employee of the Month & was this months fantastic winner!

Here’s what his manager had to say:

“Steve deserves this nomination of employee of the month due to his continued dedication over the past couple of months. As a new manager he has taken the first few weeks of opening a new house all in his stride leading and supporting with compassion and understanding. The four people who have moved in are settling well and Steve has shown his ability to adapt and get to know everyone well to lead the team. We are really lucky to live in a beautiful part of the world. Here in Wrexham, North Wales, we are close to sand and sea as well as rolling hills, mountains and lakes. Living her best life, out and about as usual, Molly spent the day in Llandudno and enjoyed a walk along the prom and sitting to watch the sea. It's the simple things in life that are often the best

Gemma has been super busy this week 🌼🐝 She’s created a stunning canvas drawing of a bee and has also been spending lots of time tending to her plants 🌱

From her last update, they’re all growing really well — a true reflection of the love, care and time she puts into them 💚

Amazing work, Gemma! 🌟, cant wait to see how tall your sunflowers grow.

Owen had a great day out at the The British Ironwork Centre.

Lots of walking around exploring all the amazing sculptures, so he definitely earned a treat so stopped off at the cafe for a cold drink and a slice of the rocky road cake - i think we can all agree it looks amazing.

A lovely day out all round 😊
