Kim, George, Emma Y, Emma C, joined by Ruth, last night made up the Spicy Rock Chicks & completed the Shine Night Walk in Birmingham thats 10K!

They are fundraising on behalf of Cancer Research UK a cause that unfortunately touches all of us sometime in our lives.

Thank you ladies for being so selfless and utting yourselves out there for such an amazing cause ♡

So...we have some tasty home made jams for a suggested donation of £2.50 per jar. This consists of home grown rhubarb, blackberries, rasberrys & strawberry's from the guy's poly tunnel at Grow & Go. Also figs donated by Christine from Park Run. Lovingly made by Carla Ashworth.

A fantastic day had by the guys at The Penkridge Open Air Festival this weekend! From the Bay City rollers to the headliners The Drifters, Sunday was an amazing afternoon of fun - VIP style!

There is some great things happening at Rockspur atm (probably guilty of not posting for a bit re AL)....but...look at this!!!!!

Baking group are smashing out an Italian Carbonara this afternoon. Everyone is on it from prep, getting the pans on and washing up. Can't see this one making it home sorry.....

Ladies group left the building to go shopping at Morrisons for next week's ladies session so prepped and ready!

Issue 42 has spotlights on some of our sessions, some taste tests, the history of harvest festival, Halloween, Member successes in Oliver McGowen training, DofE, fundraising for Air Ambulance, upcoming events, staff news, Parent/ Carers Support Grouo, diary dates, cricket updates, puzzles and info on the next Down's Syndrome Forum!

Our guys have worked incredibly hard on this supported by Kim & Keighley.

Some of the guys are working on a piece of research being conducted by the University of Wolverhampton on a Wednesday morning.

The guys collated their thoughts about what was important to them, likes and dislikes as well as the activities they enjoy whilst at Rockspur.

The results were fantastic.

Professor Martin heading up the researxh geouo passed the hugely positive comment that..."this is the level all services should aspire to" 💙
