FAQ (FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS)
FIRST & FOREMOST WE PRACTICE CORONA RULES:
Social Distancing, hand sanitising, mask wearing in place, if you decide to volunteer with us would you please adhere to these rules too to ensure we keep each
other safe. Pick ups and deliveries will be handled in the most strictest and sensible manner, we will discuss and work out how we do this once you are on board as a volunteer.

We welcome sewers of all abilities as there are many jobs, large and small to do! We need people to make scrubs (top and trousers) laundry bags (for scrubs to be washed in) and palm-size padded hearts (which we place in the “scrub top” pocket to be found as a little bit of “love” from Scrub Up to our recipients. The threads, fabric and necessary trims etc will all be included with which-ever product you choose to make. If you prefer we will send you the YouTube tutorial link to follow or/and written production and garment specification sheet to refer to. MESSAGES
Could you please ensure that In your message to us CLEARLY states the following to coordinate a suitable job match:
*Your FULL name
*Location (not your full address unless we ask for it *see pick ups & deliveries section)
*Level of machinist you are (how experienced)
*Do you have an overlocker? (desirable but not necessary)
*Do you have a specific job that you desire to do? Please specify - Scrubs, bags, hearts. We’ve just recovered a box of the famous “Noah Rainbow Fabric” off cuts/scraps, so we thought it would be quite nice and jazzy to make headbands, scrunchies etc. (a little job to do in front of the telly box ;)
PICK UPS & DELIVERIES
It would be extremely helpful to us if you would CLEARLY state your area/location (not your full address) this is so we can coordinate pick ups and deliveries in the same area with our drivers) At a later date we may need more contact information but we will ask for this only if we require it and we will not share this unless you give us permission in a message to do so. Anything that we do hold will be held according to the DPA. SCRUBS REQUEST/ORDER

*Quantity of scrubs you require (we can only provide you with one set each due to high demand)
* The size of your scrubs (please see our size chart)
* The scrubs are free of charge, donations welcome to help us purchase threads, other haberdasheries, equipment and materials, etc to enable us to continue to make our scrubs. Scrub Up - Size Chart (our scrubs come up on the smaller size, example, GENERALLY UK 12 is usually a UK Medium but the “Scrub Up” scrubs Medium is a size 10. Scrub Up XS = UK 4 - 6
Scrub Up S = UK 8
Scrub Up M = UK 10
Scrub Up L = UK 12
Scrub Up XL = UK 14
Scrub Up XXL = UK 16
Scrub Up # # = UK 18-20
Etc...
NOAH RAINBOW FABRIC SCRUBS
At the moment we are purely using the Noah Rainbow Fabric to sew our scrubs!!! They are rather Jazzy and very cheery, and the feedback we have had is that they have put a smile on patient and practitioners face. Just a thought though... would you please ensure with your place of practice that these scrubs are suitable... just a thought...
