What a great evening of entertainment? Then go o further that Cockburnspath Village Hall, this evening at 7pm. The Theatre Company return with their production of ‘ Sherlock Holmes & the Sting of the Scorpion ‘ Doors and Bar opens at 6.30, show starts 7pm. Hope to see you there ❤️

Just two days to go until the latest production from the Northumberland Theatre Company comes to Cockburnspath Village Hall. ‘ Sherlock Holmes and the Sting of the Scorpion ‘ starts at 7pm on Friday 5th June. Doors and Bar opens at 6.30pm. This fabulous theatre company always puts on a great performance and we love having them here. Tickets are available from Cockburnspath Community Shop and Sally Carroll on 01368 830482. Also available on the night.

Please be aware that it is going to be a busy few days in the Village Hall on Friday 29th/Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May, when there is an exhibition on celebrating James Hutton the famous geologist who discovered Siccar Point. There is a private reception on Friday afternoon, followed by two days of the exhibition being open to the public. Saturday 10-4pm, and Sunday 11-4pm. The cafe will be open during these times on Saturday and Sunday so please come along and join us.

The village is going to be very busy so please be reminded that the Car Park is only for Village Hall and Shop use. Please use the village square and the side roads for alternative parking areas.

we look forward to seeing you over the weekend.

A few things happening this week in the Village Hall.

Tuesday 19th May is the Community Cafe from 11.2pm serving Toasties, Soup, Cake & Scones. We love seeing you all there so come along for fresh homemade produce, great company and an amazing atmosphere.

Wednesday 20th May Craft Club is on from 1-3pm.

Choose from Needle Felting, Japanese Embroidery or Making your own Cards.
Not interested in any of the above then bring your own project and enjoy a couple of hours creating.

The Flower Club is holding its ever popular plant sale from 7pm. Cake stall and Raffle. Don’t be late to all the plants will have gone!

The Big Quiz Village Hall returns on Friday 29 May from 6:30pm with a Special Guest standing in for Sara at the bar
AND
special decorations around the hall - once in a tercentenary!

Teams of no more than 5 per plateau (table) and £1 per person entry.

Bar opens from 6:30pm until late, while the quizzing gets underway around 7:30pm - current geological time!

Shame that James Hutton can't make it as it's sure to rock!

This is a great annual Community Event so let’s support it. Hopefully the sun will shine and it will be a lovely day ❤️
