The shop will be closed throughout August. Come in for a browse and to pick up any essentials you need for the next month of gardening.

The shop is open 10 - 1 this Saturday, but trading will be suspended at 11.30 for the AGM, open to all members. Any remaining plants will be sold at half price after the AGM.

Single annual membership is £10

Did you take some sunflower seeds earlier this year, to enter our Tallest Sunflower competition? We hope you have had success. If you have, it’s time to get a photo or two, with a measuring tape to show us how tall yours are.

If you can drop your photo into us at the garden club on Saturday, 10 to 1, we would love to see them. Remember to put your name and contact details on the back of the photo.

We are looking forward to our Open Day on Saturday 5th September. Tours of the allotments, the ‘something I grew’ exhibition, a dahlia competition and the scarecrow competition. Open to anyone, enter as an individual, a group or a family. Your scarecrow can be any size. We can’t wait to see what you come up with
