Throught COVID my dad was a blood biker for a charity named Lifesavers which led him to an MBE from the king. Although I didn't see him much during that period of time, the times I did see him and did help was what mattered to me, I was annoyed I didn't see him much but focused instead on what he was doing and always wanting to help in someway or another whether it was answering calls for him or getting him a pack of crisps
I am proud of him and always will be due to the work he did. He would work 36 hour shifts and still come home full of energy, and when it came to seeing me my sister most of all my dog. I very proud of him and hope he keeps it up.
