This amazing and kind hearted girl is getting the chop, MY little sister, my favourite little person is getting her beautiful treasured blonde locks cut off to donate it to little girls who cannot grow their own hair due to illness!!

Can you spare a few pennies to support them and help to cover the cost of a wig being made! Charley-Rose will provide the hair but it costs around £500 to a child with a full lace human hair wig to give them back the confidence they have lost?

Well it was bound to happen in our house!

Finn has inspired people to grow, cut and donate their hair (One lad was called Finn), for people to take on the National 3 Peaks and now, well his sissy wants in on the action too because "its good to help others" and she's spot on!

So 2 challenges this year she wants to complete are!

1. Donate 10" of her hair to Little Lady Locks
2. Walk to Scotstoun on the fist home game of the season at Glasgow Warriors for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity

She ain't getting her own page, so her brother will allow her to post "the odd one" but he is massively proud of her for facing her fear of having her hair cut and doing an awesome things to help charities.

Finn took part in the inaugural wth Coatbridges Davitt GAA this weekend in Edinburgh, his team took 2nd place in the Cup final.

He played his socks off, but put no effort into the team photo!

Sunday was spent sleeping as he was knackered, but well deserved rest as the effort this boy is putting in at present is amazing, constantly training, playing and pushing in rugby and Gaelic football, he's driving himself hard to be the best he can be.

Well done Finn on the effort, drive and attitude shown, we are proud of you.

Thank you to all the coaches and support for putting this on, a lot of work went into it.

A bright future in the game awaits!

Finn went to something special tonight, as training/selection for Scotland U15's Gaelic football team.

He put a shift in, but knows he has to work harder to get a spot on the team!

Impressed with his attitude after the session, he is going to take a spot, work harder, train more and cement his place on the team.

A ways to go yet, but hes committed to make his mark on the coaches and players and pull on that covated jersey!

The drive, the way the coaches spoke, thw passion and they way they described the process, grass roots rugby and SRU can learn from ther sports and the approach taken to drive the young people forward and make a great future from the sport, was truly amazed at the whole thing.

All at team Finnthemountainslayer are behind him, well work as hard to help him achieve his goals.

Good luck Finn, we know you can smash it.

All sections are invited to join in this team effort. We will be starting at midday and will have a BBQ on the go to make sure everyone is well fed.
