🌟 Supporting Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing in Coatbridge 🌟

Ahead of World Mental Health Day this Saturday, members of the Coatbridge Youth Work Team were delighted to attend Coatbridge High School's Mental Health and Wellbeing Lunchtime Information Event today.

Led by the school's S6 Mental Health Ambassadors, the event provided young people with the opportunity to learn more about the services, support and activities available to help promote positive mental health and wellbeing.

Our team enjoyed chatting with pupils about the opportunities available through local youth groups and activities. Young people also had the chance to test their luck on our spin-the-wheel challenge, with those landing on an even number earning a chance to take part in our lucky dip! 🎡✨

It was great to see so many young people engaging with the event, asking questions and finding out more about the support available to them. A huge thank you to Coatbridge High School for inviting us along.

We hope to see some of the young people we met today at future youth work activities and events across Coatbridge!

💚

A massive thank you to The Safety Zone for having us along, and to all of the young people who took part and made it such a success. 💙

The workshop forms part of wider conversations around Pride in Place and the future of Coatbridge's regeneration, ensuring that young people's voices are heard when thinking about what a thriving town looks like.

Their ideas highlighted the importance of welcoming spaces, opportunities to connect with others, and environments where all young people can feel they belong.

Thank you again to all of the young people who shared their thoughts, ideas and creativity. Your voices matter, and it's exciting to see them helping to shape conversations about the future of Coatbridge.
