Shining Stars ASN Theatre School - SCIO Shining Stars ASN Theatre School is a registered charity; (SC050431) Shining Stars is a theatre school for anyone with an additional support need.

We offer workshops in; Drama, Musical Theatre, Dance, Drama Therapy, Makaton Choir, and Arts Therapy. Shining Stars Theatre School is a school for children and adults with Additional Support Needs. Shining Stars has been awarded Makaton friendly status by the Makaton charity. We offer workshops in; Drama, Musical Theatre, Dance, Drama Therapy, Sensory Drama, Film Club, Relaxation & Mindfulness, and a Makaton Choir. Members can participate in DofE awards, hi5 awards and dynamic youth awards.

Morning everyone -

Just a little update; we're going to be off a little longer until my stitches heal & I get the okay from the doctor to come back. I'm hoping we start back the week of the 30th of August.
I'm so sorry about the mix up of routines for you all.

I'll be doing some admin over the next week or so and I'll post some updates of up and coming events etc in our parent pages.

I think I have emailed everyone who was due to start from our waiting list to push back your date, if I haven't, please give me a gentle nudge and I'll get back to you at some point.

Thank you for being so understanding, I really appreciate it and hopefully I'll make it up to all my stars for being off longer than expected 💛.

Morning everyone -

I know Xanders has been keeping people up to date. I got out of hospital this morning, but I'll post privately in the parent page in a few days time.

We might be off a little longer than originally planned. I'm so sorry about all of this mix up of routines.
Anne Marie will be overseeing any meetings I have in my diary over the next few weeks and keep the board up to date, who will update anyone else if needs be.

Emails and messages will get replied too when I'm properly back at work. My phone's going off for a little while.

💛 We honestly don't know where to begin... Thank You. 💛

Because of every single one of you, our Danceathons have now raised just over £9,000 for Shining Stars ASN Theatre School. We still have some sponsors to hear back from, so we're hoping that total will grow even more.

When we launched this fundraiser, we did it because we had to. Like so many charities and community organisations, we're facing huge financial challenges, and every penny raised helps us fight to keep the doors of Shining Stars open for the incredible children, young people and adults who call it their second home.

To know that we've already raised over £9,000 is overwhelming. It's more than just a number – it's hope. It's more time. It's another step towards securing the future of a place that means so much to so many people.

Seeing our community come together has been incredibly emotional. Every donation, every sponsorship, every share, every message of support and every person who danced with us has reminded us that Shining Stars isn't just a theatre school – it's a family.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing beside us when we needed you most. Your kindness and generosity are helping us continue to provide a safe, welcoming place where everyone is accepted, encouraged and given the chance to shine.

We still have a little way to go, but because of you, we're closer than we were yesterday. Thank you for believing in Shining Stars and helping us keep our dream alive. ❤️✨
