Supporting the community with a helping hand! 🫶🌎♻️ We have a regular Cafe that runs on a Monday and Thursday, 11-3pm.

Agar Nook Community Centre is run by a registered charity called Agar Nook Community Association (ANCA). ANCA host a number of activities and events throughout the year, these include Bingo nights, Quiz nights, Ladies nights, Family Disco's and Fetes. A Youth club runs every Thursday from 4:30-6.30pm. "50 Shades" Knit & Natter, Crochet & Chatter, meets every Thursday evening. Outside groups also u

se our space for there classes,
KISP offer a Ladies only aerobic boxing class on a Monday evening
Limelight performing arts host dance classes in the hall on Saturday afternoons. Our space is also avaliable for private hire when it is not otherwise in use. Please call 07930 638760 to check availability and book.

We’re pleased to see ongoing improvements at the community centre, including the recent driveway repairs and the beautiful hanging baskets that have been donated.

It is therefore disappointing that the newly laid tarmac has been damaged before it was fully set and mud thrown at the building creating unnecessary work for volunteers.

The community centre is a valued local asset, and every repair and improvement comes at a cost to ANCA or Emh. Money and volunteer time spent repairing damage cannot be used for projects that benefit the wider community. Repeated incidents also make it harder to justify and fund future improvements.

We know the vast majority of people who use and support the centre take pride in it, and we thank everyone who helps care for this important community space.

We would also ask parents and carers of young people who meet and play football outside the centre to please be mindful of the new hanging baskets, as it would be a shame to see them damaged.

Thank you to all our volunteers, supporters and visitors who continue to treat the centre with the care and respect it deserves.
