🌟 From building confidence to building a future in sport! ⚽🏏🏎️

When Kirsty first came to Enrych, she had a clear passion for sport but lacked the confidence to take the next step towards a career in the industry.

After completing a sports qualification at Loughborough College, Kirsty knew she wanted to work in sport but wasn't sure where to start. Through Enrych's Employability Programme, she attended workshops, completed a work placement at Coalville and Whitwick Leisure Centre, and gained valuable support to help her move forward.

Since then, Kirsty has gone from strength to strength. She now volunteers with Heather St John's Football Club on matchdays and supports Enrych's boccia and multi-sport sessions. Most importantly, she's developed the confidence to engage with others and embrace new opportunities.

Simon, Chairman of Heather St John's Football Club, said:
"Kirsty is an absolute asset to our club. She works hard, is committed and is wonderful to talk to. I know Kirsty's goal is to get a paid job within sport, and with her dedication and work ethic, I'm confident she will achieve it."

We're incredibly proud of everything Kirsty has achieved and can't wait to see where her journey takes her next. 💙

🌟 Volunteer Week Spotlight: Meet Barry 🌟

This Volunteers' Week, we're celebrating the incredible people who give their time to make a difference in our community.

Barry has spent a lifetime volunteering. From helping at school as a young boy, to supporting charities through the RAF, Coalville Round Table, local community groups, and fundraising initiatives, he has dedicated decades to helping others.

Today, Barry volunteers at our Feel Good Café every Tuesday morning. His connection to Enrych is a particularly special one. Barry and his late wife, Betty, attended the café together when Betty was receiving support from Enrych. Following Betty's passing, Barry chose to continue coming along as a volunteer, helping to create the same warm, welcoming atmosphere that meant so much to them both.

When asked why he volunteers, Barry said:
"I like to think I make a difference in people's lives in the nicest possible way, and try to bring happiness and good cheer to all. This town gave me a comfortable living and I feel I should use my experience to put something worthwhile back into the community."

Thank you, Barry, for your kindness, dedication, and the joy you bring to so many people each week. 💙
