What a whirlwind it’s been since we joined the Coalville Labour Club new four weeks ago! We didn’t just join a club; we joined a movement. This place has generations of mining and industrial history in its walls, but the last two Sundays (and that massive Bank Holiday!) have been nothing short of legendary.

We’ve watched the bar takings jump from a quiet £300 to a staggering **£1,250+ back-to-back**. The best part? Seeing the club "rammed" with smiling faces, families, and regulars alike. This is exactly what community looks like, and we are just getting started!

# # 🍔 THE HEART OF THE PARTY (AND THE BARBECUE!)
I’ve been manning the grill, and while the barbecue is strictly non-profit—not a single penny in my pocket—the reward is seeing everyone fed and happy. Last Monday’s BBQ alone cleared £150! From the ice cream vendors and the sweet stalls to the legendary Tiger Moon and everyone that keeps adding to the roster, week after week!Everyone is winning.

Our local vendors have cleared nearly a grand between them over the last three events. We’re building something special here in Coalville, proving that when the community comes together, everyone gets a slice of the pie (or a burger off the grill!).

# # ☕ SCONES, SMILES, AND THE "CHIN WAGON CHUCKLE"
This Sunday, the madness returns! We’re kicking things off at **11:00 AM** with the **Chin Wagon Chuckle**. For just **£2**, you can grab a fresh scone with cream and strawberry jam, plus as many cups of tea or coffee as you can handle. Whether you’re here for a natter or a brew, it’s the warmest welcome in Leicestershire. And for the regulars who love the tradition, we’ve got **Bingo** in the lounge with cash prizes that are getting bigger by the week as the crowds grow!

We’re turning the volume up in the main room with the **Giddy Kiddies**! Our friends from Bouncy Days party, events and LED Furniture hire are bringing the heat with the bouncy castle outside, while the legendary **NiCKY** will be on the mic all afternoon keeping the little ones entertained. It’s a full family affair—while the kids burn off energy, the adults can enjoy the cheapest pints in town, with prices starting at a mind-blowing **£2.70**. Throw in one of **Legendary Lynn’s cobs for £1.50**, and you’ve got the best-valued Sunday around!
