Carers Week 2026 8th - 14th June

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don't think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.

It's Volunteers’ Week a week long celebration of the incredible difference volunteers make across the UK.

Thanks to all sector colleagues who helped make the recent Third Sector Leadership Conference – Volunteers' Week 2026, held at Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel, such a successful day.

Special thanks to our keynote speakers, workshop leaders and marketplace stall holders.

Attendees feedback included 'Very informative and a wonderful day. Very well organised' and 'Will take back to my group, positive and informal information to help my group grow with confidence and pride'.

It’s Volunteers’ Week and it’s been a busy week so far.

On Tuesday evening we celebrated with our volunteers at the Clyde Venue with one of David’s Legendary Quizzes.

Tomorrow, (Thursday 4th June) we will be welcoming local groups and organisations to The Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel for our Third Sector Leadership Conference.
