Thanks to everyone that attended our Board Effectiveness Training this morning, we hope you had a positive and engaging experience.

The session looked at how effective your board is to fulfill its aims and objectives. A good community group or charity board can be recognised by its ability to effectively govern and lead the organisation to achieve its mission and goals.

Couch to 150 Minutes!

Did you know that the official physical activity guidelines recommend doing at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity a week.

As part of the Commonwealth Games Legacy to Scotland WDCVS are looking to encourage people aged 50+ not currently meeting the target of 150 minutes of physical activity, to get more active.

We are delighted to receive funding from The National Lottery Awards for All Scotland for our project which will support us to expand physical activity further in West Dunbartonshire.

Join us on 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟲 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, 𝟭𝗽𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝟰𝗽𝗺, at RSPB Loch Lomond, Gartocharn, for a special afternoon celebrating the launch of the new Lomond Plant Nursery.

Whether you're interested in conservation, curious about the nursery, keen to get involved as a volunteer, or simply looking for a fun afternoon in the National Park, everyone is welcome!

2026 VIVA Awards are opening to nominations on 1st September.
