Linnvale Community Group The group has been set up to enable the residents of Linnvale to get together on issues which affect the area.

This page will be used for all manner of things including neighbourhood watch updates, events info, club details and everything else in between.

The Linnvale Community Bus team had their fundraiser last night in the Double L Centre

It was a great night where we played Bingo, Play Your Cards Right, had a team Quiz and finished it all off with an amazing raffle.

The centre was full and the event was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.

The total amount raised was £412 which is a record for the team.

They would like to thank everyone for their support ❤️

Our colleagues at Linnvale & Drumry Community Council are holding their monthly meeting on Monday, February 9 in the Double L Huts, at the rear of Linnvale Primary School, 7.30pm.

Meetings open to anyone who lives in the G81 2** postcode area

Our friends who run the Community Bus are having a fundraiser on the 20th February

Get yourself along there and help out an amazing charity who supports our community every day. You just pay at the door before you ask 😃

Also If anyone is feeling generous has any raffle prizes you can donate, please reach out to us and we can get them passed along to the Community Bus Team 👍🏻

Someone has very kindly stolen, misplaced or borrowed an insert from one of our bins on the canal bank.

If you happen to see it anywhere can you please let us know.

Added to the fact that another bin was set on fire last year we are becoming a bit demoralised. It’s the volunteers that got the money together, bought and installed the bins and then go out and empty them every Sunday (no matter the weather) and now we have to find the money to buy another insert.

Any information would be greatly appreciated

Hello Everyone 👋🏻

Our Xmas Giveaway was a great success. We had just shy of 60 nominations and about double that number of donations.

This huge number of donations not only allowed us to provide every nominated resident with a present but also both Linnvale Nursery and St Eunans Nursery with selection boxes for every child.

There were lots of surprised and happy residents when we done our rounds and we would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who donated and especially our volunteer team who made this all happen.

We would like to wish everyone a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year and hope to see more of you get involved in next years community activities and projects.

Afternoon All

Just a quick update on our exciting Xmas Giveaway 🎁🎄

So far we have received an amazing 46 donations 🙏

And we have had 38 nominations for residents young, old and even in between.

Just a couple of minor points to remind you of

Please check the best before dates on anything you give to us. It doesn’t happen very often but occasionally we get donations that won’t even make it till Xmas 🎅🏻

Also, this giveaway isn’t just for those who are struggling, it’s also to spread a bit of Linnvale love. So if you just want to treat your neighbour or your kid and spread a bit of festive cheer please get in touch we would love to hear from you.

It’s not very clear on the flyer but donations can be dropped off at 57 Attlee Ave ❤️
