A big thank you to everyone who attended last night, to the lovely people for swinging by with some really helpful items from the list, and to everyone who has dropped off contributions so far- toys, cups, crafty bits and kindness...we are incredibly grateful for you, thinking of us.
✨️🌸✨️

Some really great discussions were had last night, and some important and valuable questions were asked, which we will answer more widely in the very near future..for now,.just popping in with a large sprinkling of gratitude. ✨️

We'll keep you updated on any developments and hope to see you at the next volunteer meet up. It wont be next week, due to birthday celebrations, but we shall be there the week after.

Thanks again,
The Garage Team.✨️

Hi everyone, we are holding our first volunteer group, THIS Wednesday!

Will you join us?! We are making the garage look and feel loved, ready for the community to use ✨️

Everything needs a freshen up and a spot of re-imagining...starting with a good clean up of the floor, a paint of the windowsills and creating some intentional spaces at the front of the community social area.

We want to build some storage benches, a breakfast bar and some shelving, along the front of the space (see image for idea of the plan)

To get to this point we need some breezeblocks, wooden worktops, ply wood, curtain wire and hooks, fabric, masonry paint, unwanted duvets and pillows and foam, cleaning products.

Would really benefit from the expertise and wisdom of an electrician and a roofer too...Will you hear our call?!

If you can spare us any of these items or your time, We will be there from 6pm on Wednesday with open arms! All welcome!

Come say hi! 💛

Rounders tonight! Are you, ahem, free?!

Come along, a good ol'excuse to have a larf! No charge, just bring yourself, your family, a pal, and any other bits that you might want to...

I will bring a bat and ball and the posts, and a rusty memory of the rules of play... the rest is a collaborative effort 😉👌

It would be so lovely to see some of you there...

4pm, Memorial Hall field 💛

Rounders was SUCH a great laugh yesterday! ✨️

Big thank you to everyone who turned up, and well done, you all did so well! A really great mix of parents, children and families coming together and having a go.

Big thank you to the spectators too (All very welcome, you don't have to play to join us, your enthusiasm and encouragement means SO much 💛)

Didn't manage to get photos of everyone and everything, as we were all too busy having fun and being...ahem...'enthusiastic' 🤣

Definitely looking forward to doing this again in a couple of weeks! Watch out for updates, don't forget, you can join our watts app for updates and chat 💛

Until then, well done to the Canterers last night (hats off to you all, running 4 bases were enough for most of us!) And wishing you all a fabulous Clun Carnival Weekend!

See you all at the procession

Happy Friday to you!

We are meeting at 4pm today on the Memorial Hall field for a kick about, a spot of rounders and a play, for those who want to come and join us 💛

All welcome...let's try and get enough for a game of rounders!!

It's the Clun Canter today, registration around 6pm, so thought we had better do it before then, as we might get a crowd of runners going through the field! 🫣⚾️💨☘️🏃‍♀️💨⚽️🥅☘️🏃‍♂️☘️😆😉

Nothing frilly, no expectations, just a space to come and hang out, chat, and hopefully have some fun!

Why not bring a camping chair, a friend, and some refreshments... come spend a couple of hours! 🥰

Be lovely to see you there ✨️✨️✨️

We had such a lovely time down at the ford today, making our nature frames

🪵🍃🌿🪶🌸🪵

Everyone did a wonderful job of creating their own little masterpieces. All with their own individual charm.

We had a lovely morning, which ended with some fishing in the river and a bunch of happy kiddos.

The adults who came ended up having a lovely chat and put the world to rights... they told me they felt much better for having come out and been sociable in the sun 🌞

A little bit of nature, creativity and good old fashioned social connection really is such a simple and wonderful medicine. 🌞

Thanks to everyone who came, it was such a relaxing and enjoyable day...🩷

Next stop...ROUNDERS!

watch this space for the plan...time TBC...fancy coming along?

Comment below and let's get a good old match on the field! We will likely do this later so the adults can come over After work...

What ya sayin'?? Fancy a match? ⚾️😉👌
