ROSE Final Conference: Remote Working Skills.

You might wonder why I have my hands in the air!!!

On 24 September 2026, the ROSE – Remote Occupation Skills Education project held its Final Conference at Istituto Alberghiero di Spoleto “Giancarlo De Carolis” in Spoleto, under the theme “The Work That Changes: Digital Skills and Opportunities for New Generations.”

The event opened with contributions from Luigina Renzi, Councillor of the Municipality of Spoleto, and Roberta Testaguzza, Coordinator of the Professional Sector for Dining Room and Sales at IPSEOASC Alberghiero “Giancarlo De Carolis”.

The conference then focused on the skills needed for the changing world of work, including digital technologies, cybersecurity, workplace ergonomics, productivity, resilience, collaboration and work-life balance.

Dr. Davide Ramenghi, Work Psychologist, addressed stress and burnout in remote work, focusing on how to protect our wellbeing while staying connected.

Natalia Scrofano and Noemi Vanin from Empacter – Human Resources shared practical advice, suggestions and best practices for writing a CV and approaching the job market.

The event brought together students, professionals and project partners for a final exchange on how work is changing and which skills can help younger generations navigate new.

The ROSE partnership brings together Umbria Training Center, The Rural Centre, Linking Foundation, Akademia Przemiany i Rozwoju Człowieka and D.G.T. Network.

Capturing the Stories That Shape Our Communities.

MusEducate partners have been working together to develop a series of workshops designed to capture and preserve the oral histories of local communities across Ireland, Greece, Portugal, Cyprus and Poland.

Heritage lives in our memories, language, traditions, skills, landscapes and everyday experiences.

Through these workshops, we want to give local people the opportunity to share their stories, memories and experiences, helping to capture the traditions, culture and heritage that make each community unique.

By recording these voices today, we can help ensure that the stories and knowledge of our communities are preserved and passed on to future generations.

Sad the ROSE project is coming to an end with a final conference in Spoleto, Italy next week. We will be presenting our training modules first Remote Work Management.

ROSE Final Conference – The Work That Changes

The ROSE – Remote Occupation Skills Education project is coming to its final stage, and we are pleased to invite you to the ROSE Final Conference, taking place on Thursday, 24 September at 10:00 AM at Istituto Alberghiero Giancarlo De Carolis in Spoleto.

Under the theme “The Work That Changes: Digital Skills and Opportunities for the New Generations”, the event will present the project’s training modules for remote work management, followed by talks on burnout and work-related stress, work-life balance, and CV writing.

The event will be an opportunity to present the results of the project and discuss the skills and opportunities needed for the changing world of work.

We look forward to seeing you in Spoleto!

The ROSE project is coming to an end with our final meeting in Italy in September so we met to day with our Italian partner, Simone, to plan the final conference where we will share the training modules we developed - 12 free online modules to help develop the skills for successful remote working.

🌹 Two Roses! Rose McCluskey & Rose Shaw – a must visit exhibition at Fivemiletown Library this September!

Among this beautiful collection of paintings local artist Rose McCluskey took inspiration from the remarkable Rose Shaw photographic collection. A wonderful example of how Rose Shaw's photographs inspired new ways of seeing and celebrating our local heritage.

This collection covers over 25 years of Rose McCluskey's work capturing local places, landscapes and the countryside that make this area special.

THE ROSE SHAW COLLECTION early 1900’s
Rose Shaw’s photographs take you back in time to show ordinary life in the Clogher Valley.

Francis and Minnie McGovern
“Dancing on the door” one of Rose Shaw's most famous photographs.

Josephine Treanor tells the story of her grandfather Francis McGovern (born 1894) and his sister Minnie (Mary Ellen aged 11 in 1911 census). Francis and Minnie lived in Corleaghan along a road locally known horseshoe road.

Minnie is dancing on the half door outside the cottage with the Clogher Valley in the background.

Audio taken from Interview on 'Your Place and Mine' BBC Radio Ulster. This interview followed the successful exhibition of the Rose Shaw photographs in Corick House, Hotel.
