SoulRoots Acappella SoulRoots Acappella (for female voices) is a vocal project for adults, bringing you songs of passion Still going strong with passion, power and soul!!

Gathering Voices (www.fb.com/gatheringvoices), the charity behind the Bristol Festival of Song (www.fb.com/festivalofsong) started SoulRoots Acappella in the Autumn of 2012 - an exciting female voice project for adults! A vocal group for female voices (choir) that exemplifies a dynamic, enthusiastic and committed style of singing and performance that will engage and inspire audiences. In addition to learning beautiful songs and having fun, singers will also learn a great deal about healthy and effective vocal techniques. SoulRoots features songs of passion, power and soul and the repertoire focuses on both old and new style Gospel/Blues, but also includes evocative songs from other cultures. SoulRoots is looking for singers who wish to fully explore their voices and experience a dynamic, soulful and expressive style of acappella singing and performance. SoulRoots is run by:

Hannah Klewin (Director of Gathering Voices, WorldRoots Acappella and Bristol's annual Festival of Song). If you would like to join us, come along. Your first session is FREE. For more information please email [email protected] or just come along!

Help us spread the word? 🎶❤️

We’re looking for more young singers and musicians to join our WorldRoots and Synergy programmes at Factory 8. If you have teenagers/young adults in your family, or know someone who might enjoy making music, meeting new people and being part of something in real life, please point them our way or share the post.

We’re particularly keen to find drummers and guitarists aged 16–24 for Synergy at the moment – so have a think about who you know! 🥁🎸

Thank you! ❤️

We'll be in the Yard at 12.30pm on Saturday 18th - hope you can come! The crepes sound lush 😋
