Our December Flicks has started to become a 'sing along', with some great movies, some robust singing, and in some cases, some wonderful costumes (thank you to the lady who came as a Milka Cow for our Sound Of Music extravaganza)

𝕄𝔼𝔻𝕀𝔼𝕍𝔸𝕃 𝔹𝔸ℕℚ𝕌𝔼𝕋 𝟚𝟚 𝔸𝕌𝔾𝕌𝕊𝕋
2026 is the 800th anniversary of the King, Henry III, granting Hugh de Mortimer the right to hold a three-day annual fair on the Feast of the Holy Cross, in Cleobury Mortimer, written as Cleybir in the letter to the Sherrif of Shropshire .

To celebrate, the Parish Hall is holding a Mediæval Banquet. Expect music, mirth, groaning trenchers, copious supplies of drink and perhaps even courtly – as well as peasant – dances!

Here is your chance to get out those old medieval costumes!

As WW1 rages on, the Choral Society in a small English town has lost most of its men to the army. The Choral's committee is determined to press ahead with new recruits. They engage a driven new chorus master, Dr. Henry Guthrie ‐ recently returned from a career in Germany. As conscription papers start to arrive, the community discovers that the best response to the war is to make music together
