I’m thrilled to share Ali will be providing the dance facilitation of this wonderful initiative from Sing for Joy- Together We Shine CIC with the incredible Iza Moon.

As some of you will have heard already, after giving our Market Rasen Sing for Joy sessions a good 6 month try, We’ve made the decision not to continue the sessions there for now.

So, for the remainder of the year, we are redirecting that funding (plus some of your generous donation money) into creating some ‘Sing and Move for Joy’ sessions in Grimsby with the fabulous Ali (professional dance teacher and choreographer) to lead us!

Due to the fact that it’s all a little last minute and Ali and I have busy schedules, we have had to take venue availability where and when we can find it, so fingers crossed the above location and times will suit those of you who wish to join us!

We can always set up a lift share group if needs be! 🚙

☀️What to expect….

Sing and Move for Joy is a joyful, uplifting session bringing together the power of singing and movement to help us connect, exercise, express ourselves, and have some fun!

A collaboration between Iza (Singing Facilitator ) and Ali, (our wonderful dance choreographer) the sessions combine accessible singing and folk-inspired movement. Think of a ceilidh or barn dance with singing woven into the mix— that’s the kind of joyful, communal energy we are going for!

No previous experience or dance ability needed. Come as you are and join in as much or as little as feels good for you. And don’t worry if movement isn’t your thing, or you have limited physical capacity — all of the movement can be adapted to suit you. You can join in standing or seated, or simply sing, clap and enjoy being part of the group. There really is no right or wrong way to take part.

These sessions are made possible thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund. All donations go towards future projects and initiatives.

Looking forward to seeing you all this Sunday morning 8am at St Anthony’s bank for more singing,drumming and connection. As always, feel free to bring a chair or blanket to enjoy our lovely beach. And don’t forget your drums (we have a couple spare), and your voices. No experience needed and no expectations. Just a few folks gathering to bask in our love of nature and Mother Earth. Be inspired. Be invigorated. Belong xx

To all of our lovely Voices for Nature folk. If you are an early bird and can get to the bandstand tomorrow at 6am, you can join us in doing some real good by litter picking.

After that it’s straight to Antony’s Bank for our monthly gathering starting at 8am.

Litter picking is Monday as well, also 6am.
