We run a full programme of events throughout the year, both monthly and socially. We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at The Church Hall of Our Lady Of Unfailing Help & St Paul Of The Cross R C Church 57 Dewsbury Rd, Cleckheaton BD19 5BT. During the pandemic we embraced zoom to stay connected to each other. We are now able to meet face to face at our excellent facilities, so why not get i
n touch, and come along and visit one of our meetings and see what a friendly bunch we are, and share fun and laughter along with new experiences. The WI is non-party political and non-sectarian group. We don't care about religion, colour or ethnicity; we don't even care if you can't knit or bake (we'll teach you, if you really want us to). We do care if you are interested in getting to know other local women, perhaps being involved in the local community, learning, and lastly, but mostly, enjoying yourself and perhaps making a few memories along the way. We have a membership fee this year of £44.00 p.a., for which there are a minimum of 11 monthly meetings. Members receive 8 copies a year of the WI Life magazine plus a monthly e-WYN, and also our Federation Newsletter. You are able to attend 3 meetings as a guest, before you decide to join as a subscription member. If you would like to get more of an idea of what the W.I. is all about, you would be made to feel very welcome.
