We're taking a break from the Picnic in 2026.
Unfortunately, Eliza's condition has deteriorated rapidly as her medication has stopped working and is now awaiting more major surgery.
The Picnic takes a huge amount of time, energy, funding and volunteers to go ahead and with the constant hospital appointments, I just don't have the capacity to organise it at the moment.
I am really sorry because I know a lot of people really enjoy Eliza's Picnic and how it brings the community together.
We've raised over £20,000 for various children's charities!
Let's hope the next few months start looking up and we can think about 2027. Trish x

Very pleased to announce a grand total of £2,340 was raised at Eliza's Picnic 2025 to be split between Forget Me Not Children's Hospice, Platform One Children's Mental Health and Liversedge Toy Run.
A huge thank you to every single volunteer/supporters who gave up time, money and energy to make the Picnic a success once again and of course, thank you to everyone who came! ❤️
