Frizington Youth Centre - St Paul's Avenue Frizington

We've been asked of late what do we do in youth club?

Fun: It always has to be fun, for our younger group arts and crafts and games. The teenagers pool tables, X-box, table tennis, sofas to chill out on.

Safe: We provide a warm, safe space for young people to come along in the recreation time. To make new friends and mix with our professional youth workers.

Learn: Youth Work talks to young people about the issues that affect their lives, this ranges from mental and physical health, to drugs and alcohol and anti social behaviour. We call these workshops.

Community: We carry out community tasks throughout the year to give back to the local community. Typical tasks are litter picks, garden projects, leaflets drops, and helping to run community events.

Rewards: Trips & residential's as a reward for the workshops and community tasks. In every school holiday we take young people away. They must gain a set of points through the workshops and community tasks. These range from Blackpool Pleasure Beach & Sandcastles, Manchester Snow Park, to go karting, horse riding and the cinema.

Free: Everything is free all you need to do is come along, we have a tuck shop where you can buy sweets and drinks and we'll give you a membership form to take home the first time you come along so we have your contact details.

On Wednesday 04/03/26 some of our Young people from our Frizington Centre had a PJ'S night and had to bring a favourite book they had from home to share with everyone πŸ“šπŸ“•πŸ“—

The young people had lots of fun, creating their own book marks to take home and having Juice and Biscuits 😊

We then finished the session off with a game of musical statues with lots of great dancing going on!!
