Booking for this year's Hub Summer Fridays is now open ☀

We are running three completely free sessions from 10am - 2pm during the summer holidays thanks to Surrey County Council's HAF (holidays and food) project.

Each session features a main activity (details below) plus sports, arts and crafts, cooking, a hot meal, gaming and more!

Friday 24th July: Hub Olympics
Friday 31st July: Pottery Painting
Friday 7th August: Japanese Restaurant

These sessions are for current Year 6s - Year 9s and are free of charge for all but you must book on.

Last Saturday, we held our third annual Hub Summer Fair!

Our young people worked so hard organising and setting up the event and they helped alongside out wonderful volunteers on the car wash, tombola, coconut shy and all our other stalls.

Thank you to everyone who came along to support them - it was great to see so many members of the community!

Another huge thank you to everyone who donated tombola prizes - your support is so appreciated.

We hope everyone who joined us had a lovely time and we hope to see you again next year ☀

Come along from 11am - 2pm, support our Hub members who’ve organised, planned and set up today, have a go at our tombola, get your car washed at our £5 drive thru car wash, get your face painted and loads more! 🌞 it’s free entry. We take both cash and card!

A PLEA FOR HELP

“Hello, I’m Katie and I’m the Manager and Youth Worker at Claygate Youth and Community Hub. Tomorrow is our Hub Summer Fair. This is a fundraising event run by our Hub members and young people aiming to teach them how to fundraise, handle money and talk to the community. But, none of that will happen if the community doesn’t turn up. So, I’m asking: do you have 20 minutes between 11am and 2pm tomorrow to come along and talk to our young people, maybe have a go at the tombola, get your car washed for £5 or have a look at our plant sale? Please come and support our young people. Thank you very much.”

Last Tuesday, we had our famous pizza competition. Roy had the difficult task of deciding on a winner out of the 20 entries but, after some careful deliberation, Ollie took the win. Congrats Ollie!

Here's what's on this week at The Hub! A reminder that this Saturday is the Hub Summer Fair. Come along and support Hub members as they work on their event organising and fundraising skills and raise money for youth activities and equipment!

Tuesday: 6-8pm drop-in for 11-19 year olds
Wednesday Sports Drop: 6:30-8pm drop-in sports night for year 6-8s (£2 on the door)
Thursday: 7-9pm drop-in for 11-19 year olds
Saturday: Hub Summer Fair! 11am - 2pm - free entry

A week today is our annual Hub Summer Fair! ☀

On Saturday 13th June, 11am - 2pm, the Hub's young people are running a summer fair. There will be a car wash, BBQ, lucky dip, tombola, plant sale, craft table, face painting, coconut shy, games and more!

This event is run by Hub members and it would mean a lot if the community could come and show their support for their hard work and to help raise money for youth sessions and equipment.

We are still on the hunt for tombola prizes, especially any bottle of alcohol, and any plants for our plant sale. Please reach out at 07900 021942 or DM us.
