We're pleased to welcome our neighbours, the Friendly Fork Café to our Growing Places Open Day for the first time!

Scott and the team will be providing refreshments for sale such as teas, coffees and sweet treats.

Their handmade pizzas were very popular at our Christmas Market last year, so Dolly's Pizza Van are back at Growing Places for our Open Day on Thursday 23rd July!

The team from Dolly's will be onsite from 10am-1pm preparing their freshly made stone baked pizzas.

Our popular tombola is back! Join the fun and try your luck for a prize.

We are appreciative of any donations for tombola prizes (just no alcohol please). If you'd like to donate any prizes, please drop them to Growing Places, or leave them out with your empty veg boxes.

The tombola will be cash only, so do bring some coins along to join the fun.

We have enjoyed working with Leading Lives' Rushmere hub and welcoming them to our site. Enjoy your new compost bays!

Rushmere Hub has had a busy month!

They have been working collaboratively with Realise Futures, Growing Places at Claydon to create a programme to get some vegetables growing for cooking groups. They started with Realise Futures visiting to support them to make a compost bay.

Then the customers visited them to make bird boxes, and they're coming back to the hub in April to help create raised beds and sow the seeds in them!

🗣️How well does Suffolk support young people with SEND into their adulthood?

📅Today marks the launch of our new survey focused on supporting young people with SEND entering adulthood. This is running until the 9th March 2026.

Together with the Local Area Partnership for SEND in Suffolk, we are seeking feedback from young people (aged 13 – 25 years), parents, carers, and guardians, on how Suffolk is preparing young people with SEND for adulthood.

You can provide your feedback via the following:
