Planet Caretakers UK 🇬🇧 Clacton Beach Clean-Up with 🌿🌊

On November 6th, a passionate team from joined forces with Planet Caretakers to clean up Clacton Beach. In just a few hours, we removed three full bags of litter, including cigarette butts, plastics, glass, and even remnants from Bonfire Night.

Every piece of trash collected is a step toward protecting marine life and preserving our beautiful coastline. 🌎💙

We wrapped up the day with a well-deserved coffee at Martello Lounge, feeling proud of the difference we made together.

Planet Caretakers • UK launch

Hello fellow 🌍

We want to thank you for following this weekends’ journey as we kicked off our first UK cleanup.🇬🇧

Our team leaders Quinn and Lana (ages 8 and 13) led 13 volunteers cleaning Clacton Beach and its seafront.

Along the cleanup we met Dennis Webb a member of the Clacton volunteer litter picking and joined forces. Hopefully we'll get together 1x a month for cleanups together! 😊

In total we collected 6 bags of rubbish, from old and used fireworks, sunglasses and even socks.♻️

On that same day, our team leader Quinn invited our very own Planet Caretakers CEO, Débora Sá to visit her school: PQA Colchester Academy of Performing Arts Colchester.

Débora and Quinn introduced Planet Caretakers UK to the class and their teacher, Alistair Ward, and discussed the importance of young leadership.

At the end Quinn invited everyone to join our next cleanup.👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏾

We’re looking forward to collaborate in futures projects with this school.

Special thanks to The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts Colchester and Alistair Ward for allowing us time and space to share this important message.

We will be conducting our first Planet Caretakers UK Awareness Cleanup, in Clacton Beach, Essex, on December 16th (Saturday), at 10:30am. ��Are you excited?! We are!!�
