🧡 A little Bank Holiday reset at UTurn!

Over the weekend, the Hub had a good tidy, sort-out and refresh ready for everything starting back up.

And the minibus got some attention too — a big thank you to our Youth Ambassador Dylan for giving it a proper deep clean! 🚐✨

Whether you’re going back to a familiar school, starting somewhere new or beginning a whole new chapter, we hope it’s a really positive start. ✏️📚

🧡 What an amazing few days at Mersea!

The team and young people have had a brilliant time at the Mersea Island Festival and it really was jam-packed from the moment they arrived! 😅

Kayaking, climbing, crafts, trampolining and loads more in between — there definitely wasn’t much time for sitting still!

A huge thank you to Steven and Kelly for taking the group and making it such a great experience. I think they’ll both be catching up on some sleep now! 😂🧡

Such a lovely couple of days and plenty of memories made.

We’re a local charity based in Clacton-on-Sea, right next to Clacton Cinema, providing structured mentoring, support and positive opportunities for young people across Tendring.

From 1-to-1 mentoring and group support to wellbeing, outreach and community activities, everything we do is about helping young people build confidence, develop skills and move forward positively.

We’re also incredibly proud recipients of the King’s Award for Voluntary Service. 👑🧡

🧡 Great to welcome ECVYS - Essex Council for Voluntary Youth Services to the Hub today!

We had a really useful catch-up about the Youth Resource Network, the project we’re currently delivering with support from the Essex Violence and Vulnerability Unit.

It was good to talk through how things are developing and how we can continue building stronger links and support for young people across the area. 🧡

☀️🧡 Sunshine, sea views and a bit of creativity… not a bad Holiday Club day! 😎

We headed over to Walton-on-the-Naze for a walk along the coast and some time exploring, before heading back to the Hub for some creative activities.

Lovely weather, plenty of laughs and a nice change of scenery for everyone. 🧡
