£476 raised today !!

Huge thank you to everyone who came along, who baked for our bake sale, LIFT for their generous donations of baking and character visits as well as of course our fantastic team of ladies on our fundraising team!

Team work really does make the dream work. 💪🏻

Our recent fundraising efforts will cover lessons at Lasswade riding school for 15 young people across north Edinburgh over the next few months, new resources for use in our groups and ofcourse some yummy thins for the horses too!

We’ll update on here with our purchases ✨🐴

First event done and dusted and what a night
it was thank you to everyone who came along to help raise funds to support EquiLearn.

We raised a total of £1367!!! 🥳🥳 these funds are going to go directly towards taking young people from North Edinburgh to riding lessons at local riding schools and trips out this Summer term. Watch this space for updates.

A special thank you goes out to The Mid Yoken Community Bar & Lounge for the use of their great lounge space, hodgeheg Customs Brian for the great DJing and karaoke the slideshow of all of our ponies was a really special touch thank you ! and of course all of the fundraising team who organised last night and worked super hard to pull it all together.

✨ Why We’re Fundraising ✨

We felt it was important to share a bit more about why we’re fundraising and what it supports.

Edinburgh EquiLearn works with children and young people in North Edinburgh, particularly in West Pilton and Muirhouse, as well as supporting local schools in the area.

Our work focuses on giving young people more opportunities to spend time outdoors, learn new skills, build confidence, and benefit from positive experiences with animals and nature.

We are holding events, raffles and prize draws, and we hope there will be something for everyone to get involved in.

Every penny raised helps us continue providing these opportunities for local children and helps us reach even more young people in our community.
