Family Action Cotswolds Children and Family Centres and Youth Support Team Our Children and Family Centres offer direct, practical help to individuals and families.

Our Children and Family Centres work with parents / carers and children aged 0 – 11 inclusive. We deliver family support in the family home as well as sessions at the children’s centres such as Stay, Play and Learn, parenting courses etc. Our Youth Support Team works with those aged 10-25* to ‘Live Well’, the YST work alongside local youth and community organisations to build on what’s available,

offering somewhere to go and activities to do – as well as another someone to talk to when a listening ear is what’s needed. Youth-led, we work with those that visit us to make sure we’re offering what matters (based on their needs and interests) to help make a positive impact. (*inclusive for all children and young people aged 10-19, and up to 25 years for Looked After Child (LAC) care leavers and those with Special Education Need and Disabilities (SEND).)

Afternoon sessions are cancelled - So NO Youth Club Sessions in Stonehouse or Cirencester

Evening Sessions:
Lechlade Session will be outdoors - meet at the Pavilion as normal. 6.30-8.30pm

Dursley Session will be at the Fairground /
The Rec 6.30-8.30pm

Looking for something fun to do after school? Come along to our Open Access Youth Group!

Join us for games, sports, arts and crafts, challenges, music, and the chance to meet new friends in a safe and welcoming environment. Whether you want to get involved in activities or simply hang out and socialise, there's something for everyone.

🕓 Every Monday, 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Our friendly youth workers are on hand to support young people, help build confidence, and create opportunities to learn new skills while having fun.

🌞 Stay Safe in the Heat! 🌞

With the current hot weather, to all our families and young people, please take extra care and stay safe.

💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
🧢 Wear a hat and lightweight clothing when outdoors.
🧴 Apply sunscreen regularly and protect your skin from the sun.
🌳 Stay in the shade where possible, especially during the hottest part of the day.
🏠 Keep indoor spaces cool by closing curtains and opening windows when temperatures drop.
👶 Keep a close eye on babies, young children, and those who may be more vulnerable to the heat.
🐶 Don't forget to ensure pets have access to shade and fresh water too.

If you're feeling dizzy, unwell, or experiencing symptoms of heat exhaustion, move to a cool place, drink water, and seek help if needed.

Let's all enjoy the sunshine safely and look after one another! ☀️❤️
