🌞 Rare Private Pool Hire Opportunity – Saturday 20th June! 🌞

This doesn't happen often! We've had a last-minute private pool hire slot become available on Saturday, 20th June.

This is the only Saturday available for the entire season, making it an especially rare opportunity. These dates are like gold dust, so if you've been thinking about booking, now is the time.

We know it's short notice, but if you can get a group together, it's a fantastic way to enjoy some fun in a private setting. And with the weather forecast looking very promising for next week, it couldn't come at a better time.

If a Saturday doesn't work for you, we still have a few Wednesday dates available in July and August.

Book now using the link below before it's gone.

We have all sorts of visitors to the pool, both wild and domestic - ducks, frogs, toads, dragonflies. If you swim on your back, you might see a heron overhead and you will often see the red kites that nest nearby. Yesterday we welcomed a local cat, who supervised us for a while and declared everything to be purrfect.

Afternoon session finishes at 6.45 - come along for a quick dip. And say hello to our little friend!

Why do we love swimming?

For many of us, it's more than just exercise. A few lengths can become almost hypnotic. The worries of the day fade into the background, your breathing settles, and you find a sense of calm and focus that can be hard to find elsewhere.

Of course, there are the physical benefits too. Swimming gets the whole body moving, boosts circulation, increases oxygen flow, and leaves you feeling refreshed, energised, and ready to take on whatever the day brings.

Doing it for yourself is one thing, we're especially proud to support swimmers who are using the pool not only for their own wellbeing, but also to make a difference for others.

This week we were delighted to welcome Claire Emma Eacott who is taking on an incredible 20km swimming challenge over the course of a month to raise money for Cancer Research. Claire completed a fantastic 70 lengths during her visit yesterday – a brilliant effort and a great start towards her target.

We're also cheering on one of our regular swimmers, Susan, who is currently working her way through an impressive 10km fundraising swim also for Cancer Research.

Challenges like these take commitment, determination, and plenty of perseverance, and we're honoured that our pool can play a small part in helping both Claire and Susan achieve their goals.

From everyone here, we wish them the very best of luck and look forward to following their progress in the weeks ahead. Keep going – you've got this!

Every morning before we open, we test the water to ensure the chlorine and pH levels are correct. We repeat these tests at regular intervals during the day.
In the interests of product research, we also get in to see the pool from our customers’ point of view.
This morning, four of our lifeguards tested the water and we are pleased to report that it is warmer in than out.
We look forward to seeing you -
10:15-13:45 and 14:00-18:00.
