Watermoor House is small enough to offer that genuine homely atmosphere where each resident is treated as part of an extended family. Daily activities and entertainment for our residents are many and varied and include regular outings to local attractions in the minibus. Watermoor House prides itself on meeting the highest standards of care and is registered and licensed to provide services by the Care Quality Commission

✈️ A morning at AV8 Café, Cotswold Airport ☕

A group of residents enjoyed a trip out this morning to AV8 Café at Cotswold Airport, where there was plenty to see alongside the coffee and cake!

With historic and modern aircraft on display, views across the airfield and plenty of activity to watch, residents spent time together, relaxed in the café and took in the unique surroundings.

The report highlighted the kindness and dedication of our staff, our person-centred approach to care, the safety of residents, and the welcoming, homely environment people enjoy at Watermoor House.

🌹 Resident garden enthusiast Betty asked us to capture the roses while they are at their very best - and we can certainly see why!

The gardens are looking beautiful at the moment, with colour and fragrance around every corner. It’s a wonderful time of year to be outside, whether enjoying a stroll around the grounds, relaxing in the sunshine, or simply admiring the flowers in bloom.

A lovely afternoon out in Lechlade yesterday ☕🍰🌿

Residents enjoyed coffee, cakes and a good catch-up together — and they all said they were very well looked after by the team at Hillier Garden Centres, Lechlade. We’d therefore like to pass on our thanks to everyone there for making us feel so welcome.

Thank you as well to our volunteers, Jennifer and Paul, for helping to make trips like this possible. They are always a wonderful chance to enjoy a change of scenery, spend time together and make the most of the local community around us 💛

Spring has sprung at Watermoor 🌷
Our gardens are looking fantastic, thanks to the hard work of our gardener Ian (Cirencester Garden Services), along with our volunteers – Jane, Lionel and others.

At this time of year, every trip around the garden brings something new, and it’s been lovely to see residents getting outside to enjoy the scenery or simply sit in the sunshine.

A fun and engaging afternoon with Mindsong 🎶

Our Mindsong session yesterday brought plenty of energy and enjoyment, with residents joining in to sing favourites from our special Watermoor Songbook.

It was a great way to spend the afternoon, and something many of our residents really look forward to. We are truly thankful to the amazing Mindsong volunteers for everything they do.
