We had a lovely walk up to Ciren Park for a lovely autumn visit to the local pumpkin patch, where we picked our own pumpkins before heading for a cosy coffee afterwards. A perfect little autumn outing filled with fresh air, seasonal fun and a warming cup of coffee! 🍂🎃☕

Men’s Club – A Morning of Fun and Friendly Competition!

Last week at Men’s Club, everyone enjoyed a lively session of air hockey, getting some exercise while taking part in lots of friendly competition.

Our Activities Coordinator, Natalie, proved to be the star player of the morning, remaining undefeated and earning the title of Air Hockey Champion! 🏆

Alongside the games, everyone enjoyed a good chat, reminiscing about old pub games they used to play and sharing fond memories of watching Top of the Pops.

It was a wonderful morning filled with laughter, friendly rivalry, exercise and nostalgia, bringing everyone together through shared memories and good company.

World Mental Health Day 2026

This year's World Mental Health Day theme is 'Lived experiences: real voices, real change.' It's a reminder that every voice matters and that understanding someone's experiences is an important part of providing the right support.

At Agincare, we know that care is about more than meeting someone's needs. It's about getting to know the person, understanding what matters to them and making sure they feel heard, valued and supported.

We provide specialist mental health care both at home and in our care homes, supporting people with individual needs to live well and as independently as possible. We understand the importance of listening to each person, respecting their experiences and providing support that works for them.

With a 5,500 strong workforce supporting people across 200 locations, the wellbeing and happiness of our teams will also be a priority too. We continue to invest in resources and support to help our colleagues look after their mental health, recognising the importance of caring for those who care for others.

Let's keep checking in with each other, taking the time to listen and offering support when it's needed.

Residents had a wonderful time during a lively Dolly Parton tribute performance. They enjoyed singing along to her much-loved songs and listening to fascinating stories about her life and career between performances. The event created a warm and cheerful atmosphere, with plenty of smiles, laughter, and fond memories shared throughout the afternoon.
