Could you be our next Trustee?

We're looking for Trustee's to join us as we continue to build on Daniel Bingham's legacy.

For the benefit of Cirencester, our role is to advance 'public education' and 'arts & music'. Also, to provide facilities for recreation or leisure, and to improve life for people who live in or visit the area.

We also have a charitable purpose for improving the life of people who have particular needs by reason of 'youth, age, infirmity, disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances'.

Within our property portfolio we have Bingham House which serves as a gallery and community hub, Dyer House a commercial let building, residential property, garages and allotments.

There are 12 meetings a year that range from formal Trust meetings, including training and development, to strategy workshops, the official launch of our annual art exhibition and Annual Meeting with a reception for our volunteers.

If you would like to find out more about joining the Daniel Bingham Foundation, please contact us at [email protected]

We're proud to be sponsoring the Old Station Experience at this year’s Cirencester History Festival , aligning with our mission to promote local culture and heritage.

Our founder and benefactor Daniel Bingham learnt his trade at the station in the 1840s, before making his fortune on the Dutch railways, making this event especially meaningful.

Hosted by architect and new owner of Cirencester station Jonathan Rixon it promises to be an unforgettable event.

🚃 Don't miss out – tickets for all events go on sale on 5th September through the website.

We have been working with local artist Laurie Plant and Cirencester’s Junior Town Council to provide creative art sessions; one issue the primary school children of Cirencester are concerned about is the extensive use of plastic. They want to raise awareness about reducing usage and re-using and up-cycling as much as possible.

The children collected used plastic and inspired by Laurie, have created some awesome art sculptures which are currently on display in the Daniel Bingham Foundation Gallery at Bingham House, Dyer Street.
