I'm putting together the latest edition of FVAF's Volunteering Opportunities newsletter, wishing that I could multiply myself and volunteer in ALL the PLACES 🙃, and listening to the Forest Talk talking newspaper.

It's such a lovely, calm and gentle way to catch up with happenings across the Forest of Dean from the past week. A piece about pub quizzes had me chortling and laughing out loud.

Forest of Dean Climate Action Partnership are hosting a Climate Listening Cafe in October - come and join in!

ℹ️ Have you been disconcerted by the hot summer? Felt your concerns weren't shared by others? Been to a PEB screening recently? Come and join us at a Climate Listening Café this month.

It's a welcoming, informal space where we can talk openly about our thoughts and feelings around climate change and nature loss. There are no talks, no advice and no pressure to come with answers. It’s simply a chance to share, listen and reflect together. All important stuff for building our resilience.

This is going to make such a huge impact to the equipment and the resources within our Youth Club!
