Back to School!
Abacus is open again tomorrow — and as it’s 1st September and Back to School week, we need to clear our current clothing stock! 👕✨ (except for coats!)
Come along, fill a bag and make us a sensible offer. Stock up on nursery play or forest school clothes, something for a late Indian summer, or bargains for next year — at our prices, it makes sense!
We also have lots of lovely toys, including a dolls house, Barbie Camper Van, LOL Surprise Glamper Van, toy vehicles, dinosaurs, all the things that kids love!
📚 At the moment, we’re only accepting donations of good-quality books and toys — clean and complete, with no missing parts please.
Open 10am–4pm.

A little side street just off Bath Road, opposite the Exmouth Arms.
Please tell your friends as people still struggle to find us!
We’d also love a few more volunteers, even if you can only spare a couple of hours a week it would be great to hear from you.

Bank Holiday Monday, 31 August
Unfortunately we will be closed. We still need more VOLUNTEERS to help at Abacus. Even a couple of hours a week would be great – and it doesn’t have to be a regular shift. So if you can help, or know anyone who can, please let us know.

We’ll be back on Tuesday 1st September at 10am 😊
In the meantime check out some of the latest lovely items on our shelves. We also have a lovely Barbie Camper Van with accessories and we still have a dolls house! Also cots, travel cots, high chairs, pushchairs, stair gates, baby baths and much more! If you can't see what you're looking for please ask.

🌞 Abacus – Everything Must Go! 🌞
Well, not quite! 😄 – but now that September is just around the corner, our summer stock needs to go! ☀️👕🩳
It’s still warm, but we need to make room for our coats and waterproofs 🧥☔. So ALL summer clothes (except for dresses) are HALF PRICE! 🎉 And they’re often only £1 in the first place!
Come and stock up for next year – and if you’re buying a huge amount, we will accept sensible offers! 🛍️💰
Open tomorrow, Saturday 29th – 10am to 4pm ⏰
Come and have a browse! Bring the kids too 👧🧒 – they love looking at the toys 🧸🚂 and there are lots of bargains to be had! We also have loads of wellies and school bags ready for the new school year.

Ahoy There!
This is a little bit random but... we have the perfect thing for anyone having a pirate party or anyone involved in a theatre or school play featuring pirates!
There are over 60 of the coloured bunting flags.
And the packs of skull and bones bunting to have at least 15 in each pack, one pack has 20 in it.
The backdrops are very big! And the whole set costs just £10.

Abacus is needing more donations again please! 🙏💛

We’ve been given some lovely toys and books 🧸📚 – but we’ve been so busy that they don’t stay on the shelves for long! So if you have any good quality toys and games for children up to 5, and particularly board books for younger children – we’d love to take them off your hands! ♻️

We also need dressing-up costumes as these are really popular! 👗🦸‍♂️👑

Come along and see us before schools go back 🎒✏️ – we have lots of lovely rucksacks, perfect for school, pencil cases, and wellies for the autumn! 🌈

Also loads of summer clothes, hats, swimwear and shoes 👕👟 – and we’d like ALL of these to go before Back2School! 🏫

All our proceeds go to Goals Beyond Grass 💚, a great local charity that helps severely disabled children to get into sport. 🏅

Abacus Summer Sale!
This week Abacus will be selling shorts and T.shirts at half price!
It’s still warm, but before long our summer stock will be packed away and coats and wellies will be coming out instead. So now’s the perfect time to grab a bargain — for late holidays, nursery play clothes or even next summer! 🌈

🧸📚 Abacus needs toys and books please! 📚🧸

We’ve had such a busy few days that we would love some more donations of good quality toys, especially wooden ones 🪵🧩, and books for children up to about the age of 5 📖👶

👕 We don’t need any clothing at the moment – in fact, we have so much summer clothing that shorts are now going at just 50p each! ☀️🩳 So come along and grab some bargains! 🛍️

Abacus still has lots of lovely summer clothing! ☀️👗

Come and buy while the weather is still good – and while you’re at it, why not stock up for next year too! We have loads of dresses, shorts, swimwear, t.shirts, summer shoes and much more. 👕🩳🩱
Bigger items outside include a lovely swing seat, baby walkers, ball pool with balls, toy kitchen, toy ice cream parlour, ride-on toys, baby bath, lovely Moses basket and loads more! 🧸🛝 And we have more in storage too, so if you need something you can’t see please ask.
If you’re getting ready for Back to School, we have rucksacks and pencil cases. 🎒✏️ Don’t leave it till the last minute!
