🌴 We’re back! 💜💚🧡

Well… sort of! 😂

We’re home from our holidays, but unfortunately we’re also a little bit poorly, so we’re going to be taking things slowly for a few days.

September is always a bit of a reset for High Five. We’ll be looking back at our very busy summer, what worked and what tweaks are needed to make it even better next time.

Then we start to think about what comes next.

We’ve got messages to catch up on and quite a lot of admin waiting for us! 🫣

It’ll probably be next week before we’re back to normal with events.

Four High Five families enjoyed a fantastic adventure at Blackpool Zoo! 🐘🦧 Despite the rainy start, the sun made a welcome appearance after lunch and it didn’t stop us from having a super fun time. We saw so many wonderful animals, with the baby elephant, baby orangutan, baby reindeer and baby rhea being the main attractions. There was lots of laughter as one family fed nectar to the colourful lorikeets, while another had great fun watching the sea lion show. A huge thank you to The Morrisons Foundation for funding today’s adventure. This lovely day brings our summer holiday programme to a close—and what a brilliant summer it has been! 🌞🐾

Today, Dylan brought his reptiles along to the High Five office for a brilliant hands-on session. Everyone enjoyed the chance to hold and learn about a wonderful range of animals, including snakes, a blue-tongued skink, tarantula, scorpion, millipede, African bullfrog and bearded dragon.
All of the children received a certificate from Dylan to remember the day. Afterwards, we all enjoyed some tasty treats together.
A massive thank you to Dylan for such a fun and informative visit and to everyone who took part. Thanks also to The Morrisons Foundation for funding this event.

Holiday Out of Office 🌴☀️

High Five is taking a little break from the office! 💜💚🧡

Planned events will still take place, however our office and messages will be unattended from 27th August until 3rd September while our team enjoys a well-earned holiday.🥰

We’ll get back to you as soon as we can when we return. Please don’t worry if you don’t hear from us straight away — we’re busy switching off, recharging and probably eating far too much ice cream! 🍦😂

🎟️ We’re delighted to announce our Summer Raffle total!

A fantastic £384 raised! 🎉

It’s been a real team effort, with Nicola kicking things off and getting a great response for prizes, and Helen, Clair, Kate and Helen helping to collect everything.

Sarah brought the prizes together and organised the raffles, with Viv and Wendy helping with ticket sales.

And of course, a huge thank you to everyone who donated prizes and bought tickets. You’re all superstars 💜💚🧡
