RESULTS - First ever Human Duck race completed 👍🏻 and what a fantastic summer fair at Brinscall St John’s School !
357 tickets sold !
Human duck race raised £529 ! From raffle and sponsor. Going to St John’s ptfa, Derian House and Mind.
Big Thankyou to Red Rose Storage and Camperversions for sponsoring the start and finish line, Prize money, trophy’s ,bibs , hats all needed for the 1st ever St John’s Human duck race.. The winning human duck runner was James wearing a Yellow Bib… Will he retain the trophy for next year.

Human Duck Race 🦆
Join us on Sunday 12th July at 3:30pm at St John’s School for this year’s Human Duck Race.
Our traditional duck race is getting a fun new twist this year, as 7 participants in colour-coded vests take on an exciting obstacle assault course.
Here’s how it works:
Buy a £1 raffle ticket in one of the 7 race colours. If your colour wins the race, then all tickets in that winning colour will be entered into the draw. 1st 2nd and 3rd !! Prizes to be announced 👀
Come along, support your racer, and enjoy the fun!
Tickets are £1 each and will be available before the event and on the day.
Please note: tickets are physical only and will not be available online or by email.
Sales locations will be announced soon. If anyone would like to help sell raffle tickets please message the page.

Dear Supporters,

Unfortunately, due to a special invertebrate breeding season in the river at this time of year, we have been informed that we cannot hold the Brinscall Duck Race in July 2026 as planned.

We are currently trying to find an alternative date; however, it is looking increasingly likely that the event may need to be postponed until next year.

If you still want to donate to Derian House and a men’s mental health charity. Please let us know by sending an email to [email protected] and we can still raise some money for these great charities.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We hope to see you at the Brinscall Duck Race 2027.
