It was a busy repair session today and we were down a few regular volunteers. 36 items were brought in for repair including clocks, teddys, hedge trimmer, printer, lamp, vacuum cleaner, hifi, clothing and a drill. We fixed 15 items, partially fixed 3, and 2 have been taken away for further investigation. Thanks to everyone who came along and to our volunteers for giving up their time today. Our next session is Sat 14th Nov.

We’ve received many generous donations over the years while running our Repair Café. After covering our essential expenses, we were proud to share some of the remaining funds with other local good causes and voluntary groups within Chorley.

These include:

LW Storehouse - Chorley Food Bank

Chorley Help the Homeless

Friends for You

Chorley Women's Centre

Chorley Hedgehog Rescue Centre

Our contributions will help these amazing local groups continue the vital work they do for our community.
