👨🍳🇲🇽 During our after-school Cultural Cooking Club, we are visiting different countries and learning about their traditions, culture, and cuisine.
In Week 3, we explored Mexico. We began by discussing what we already knew about Mexico and identified the different colours in the Mexican flag. As a group, we talked about any Mexican foods we had tried before and shared our experiences.
We then put on our chef's hats and got cooking! The children made tacos and nachos this week. Everyone used the equipment safely and worked together to create some delicious dishes. It was a fantastic session, and the children thoroughly enjoyed tasting their creations while learning about another culture.
