U3A Photgraphy Group
The Yate and Sodbury District U3A Photography group meet on the first Thursday of every month (except July and August) at 2pm at the St John’s Church Centre, Wickwar Road, Chipping Sodbury, BS37 6BQ.
Do you have a camera but wish you could get some better photos? At the U3A Photography Group we welcome all levels of experience – all you need to join is a camera (or even a mobile phone!) and a desire to learn more about how to improve the photographs you are taking!
Each month we have a new theme and members are encouraged to add their photos to the web site. At our meetings we discuss the images with a focus on constructive advice. Group meetings also usually include a presentation on an aspect of photography such as composition, camera settings, portraits or wildlife photography.
So, if you would like to improve your photographs why not come along to one of our meetings or come and see us at the October Open Day? The cost is £25 per year and your first taster session is free if you are already a U3A member.
