Last night our juniors were learning knots and practising their seamanship skills! 🪢

Supported by some of our senior cadets, the juniors mastered a number of knots and learnt their real world uses - especially useful when boating on the river Avon at our unit! 🚣

If your child aged 10-12 would like to join Chippenham Sea Cadets, email us at [email protected] to find out about our next intake night!

Have you ever considered getting involved with Chippenham Sea Cadets?
Don't think a uniformed role is for you but do have skills that could make a difference?

We are looking for a new volunteer chairperson, Our current volunteer is stepping down after several years in the role. Without a unit chair, the unit cannot continue to operate.

Here is a selection of photos from our fantastic Royal Naval Parade last night.
The cadets were very well turned out, represented the unit fantastically and challenged the Area Officer with some brilliant questions.
A great session was delivered by Able Cadets Reuben and Leo, both of whom were delivering their First sessions having passed their Peer Educator courses recently.
We also took the opportunity to invite the Area Officer to Award some of our cadets with their new qualifications and Good Conduct Badges.

Thank you to all the parents who got their young people to the unit early and collected them a little later than usual!
