Wiltshire 16-40 Phab We are Wiltshire 16-40 Phab Club! A social club for people with different abilities. Come along and have fun TOGETHER! Out of this discussion, Phab was born.

Phab (People Have ABilities) is about promoting & building an inclusive world, everyone with or without disabilities is welcome. Wiltshire 16-40 is affiliated with PHAB National. The beginning of Phab can be traced back to 1957 and a holiday course at the National Association of Youth Clubs at Avon Tyrrell in Hampshire. A young disabled man named Terry Rolfe made a speech: he asked for “opportunit

y, not pity” for disabled people. He asked simply that those with disabilities be given a chance to share in a programme of exciting activities on equal terms with non-disabled people. Mary Robinson, the director of the course, became the founder. The charity continues to inspire and support people of all ages to make more of life together. It has transformed the lives of many thousand of disabled people and changed the attitudes of millions towards those with disabilities, playing a vital role in our communities.

Good morning ☀️.

This Friday 19th June 2026 is club night 👏🎉👏🎉.

We have Sarah & her Dinky Ponies 🐴 🐴, there is always lots of excitement when they arrive.

Club starts at 7pm, so we can organise you all into groups to visit the Dinkies at 7.30pm prompt, please come straight into the club.

There will be time for a boogie 💃🪩🕺 during and after the guys leave, if you all have plenty of energy we plan to run until 9.30pm.

Good morning on this rather rainy day 🌧️.

Last night was club night, and a rather hectic one at that, thank you to everyone who pitched in to help 🥰.

It was our AGM, not very traditional but very much done so the members don’t have to sit listening to us droning on 😂. All of the committee were voted on unanimously with no objections.

Clare arrived with her circus skills 🤹‍♀️, there was some pretty impressive moves from the members too!

Pizzas 🍕 arrived finally and everyone seemed to enjoy these, our thanks to Pizza Hut again, they were very tasty 😋.

Finally Clare performed a sketch that she has been working on with some amazing skills and tricks, everyone gave her a huge round of applause 👏 👏.

Look forward to seeing you all in two weeks, please remember it’s an earlier start at 7pm 💜.

Good morning on this beautiful Saturday ☀️.

This Friday 5th June 2026 is club night 🥳🎉🥳🎉.

A slight change from the schedule…

It’s our AGM, which like previous years will be short but is a requirement.

We have Clare back helping us with our circus skills, she loved her time with us so much she asked if she could come back ❤️, we of course said yes please!

Pizzas 🍕 are going to be available during the evening too and if time we will have a bit of a boogie 🕺💃 at the end.

Thank you to everyone for making it a great night 🙏.

Although disappointed that Jade couldn’t be here 😢, we all wish her well 🥰.

We danced 💃🕺& sang 🎤 along together.

Some fantastic performances and great songs were chosen, from the popular Queen, Oasis & S Club 7 to The Cranberries & Walk the Moon. It was a pretty eclectic mix ❤️.

The good news is club is still on but the sad news is Jade had to cancel 😢.

Unfortunately this is for reasons beyond her control. We are sure everyone will be disappointed that she won’t be here but understand 🥰, we send her all our love and hugs 🤗.
