Important notice:

SWEP (Severe Weather Emergency Protocol) has been triggered across Wiltshire due to the very high temperatures forecast this week. If you are rough sleeping you may possibly be able to access interim accommodation regardless of local connection and the usual criteria by contacting Housing Solutions on 0300 456 0106 or emailing [email protected] or dropping in to the Council offices in Trowbridge, Chippenham, or Salisbury.
If you encounter someone sleeping rough please contact Street Link or, if you are concerned about their immediate safety, the emergency services.
We are open for rough sleepers Tues, Wed, and Fri 10 till 12 noon, and will be operating our usual Thursday session for our guests this week (cold food only).
Stay cool, stay safe, and stay in the shade if you can.

Thank you to all at i have spent all of today collecting donations oftents and sleeping bags for us to (wash) and reuse for our rough sleepers. I was staggerd by the amount of abandoned stuff - i only wish i had more people to help and dismantle more tents

As part of Volunteer's Week, we held a special evening to celebrate and thank all our wonderful volunteers at Doorway, for all they give and without we'd just not be able to deliver our service to our guests. Also a massive thank you to Somerford Arms for the delicious buffet, which was enjoyed by all.

Its another scorcher today, pop in and say hi, we're here (Bath Road, Chippenham) until 4pm we've got some great books out for those looking for an exciting read for their holidays. Sadly no cakes today though.
