Last week was an action packed week where we were out and about with all sections.
Beavers visited Lackham College to see their exotic animals centre - a huge thank you to Dave and Martin for hosting us.
Cubs were split into two groups again with half visiting Chippenham Shed and the other half going on a hike to look at local community locations.
Scouts were orienteering and as usual rose to the challenges set for them.

Thank you to all those who help us arrange these brilliant experiences so the young people can gain new skills.

Our Beavers went bouldering, Cubs did woodworking with Chippenham Shed and Scouts completed Camp prep.
We ended the week with an amazing Group Camp - all sections were brilliant and the leaders couldn't be prouder! We all learnt some new skills, campfire songs and tried some new foods!

This week our Beavers had a go at a World Badge version of Beetle Drive!
Meanwhile Cubs were learning new skills to tick off badge work, including laying the table, changing a lightbulb and tying knots!
Scouts went out and about foraging in the local park - suitable berries were found!

What a week for our Scouts!

Tuesday evening saw them complete their Chip Shop Survey - thank you to Langley's Chip Shop, Station Hill Chip Shop, Istanbul takeaway, Keskins takeaway, Boston Burger, Shoestrings and Caprinos Pizza who all served up excellent chips! The results show non-soggy, value for money chips across Chippenham!

Then this weekend saw some of our Scouts on their Summer Camp! Although it was hot they found the shade, cooked, cleaned, played games, quizzes, shelter building, football listening and much more at Jubilee Scout Campsite in Trowbridge.

A huge thank you to all the leaders who gave up their weekend so the Scouts could make memories together!
