Tonight we ran our final bat walk of the year!

A wonderful evening in Monkton Park and a brilliant crowd of people who helped make it a special one to end on 🎉. Lots of bats were putting on a great show 🦇🦇🦇

In 2026 over 190 people have attend our bat walks, including residents, students from Lackham College and a women's walking group. And they've helped us raise over £750 to support our other Rooted community projects! Thank you to our volunteers who make all these happen.

Next year we're planning new bat walk locations so watch this space, they will be available to book from April.

If you would like us to run a bat walk just for your group or club please do get in touch.

And if you've been on our bat walks this year, please share your experiences and feedback with us in the comments!
