Thank you Cllr Declan Baseley for your kind words π

Just to add, in response to a concern expressed around the brambles that were cut back. We didn't cut back any of the thick brambles. We could see everything we were cutting. It was all done very carefully by hand with manual tools - we knew every stem that was cut didn't have birds starting to nest there or nearby.
The land is absolutely covered in brambles and remains majority bramble, so the wildlife still has most of the area.
The young people (and wildlife cameras) have been observing the land for well over a year to see the areas used by birds (and other wildlife) to plan where to create a space for a polytunnel. Young people have been extremely protective of the nature on the land, and will continue to be ππ±π
