Seemebe CIO SeeMeBe is a new charity set up to enable adults with a learning disability to gain paid employment.

See Me Be CIO will build relationships with employers and work with adults to facilitate their access to paid employment. Meaningful occupation, a sense of purpose and belonging all have a positive impact on an individual's mental and physical health. People with a learning disability should have opportunities to be active members of their community, both for their benefit and the benefit of others. Our mission is to recruit ‘Work Buddies’ to enable adults with a learning disability in Wiltshire to develop their skills and achieve their career potential.

How long do you spend out and about at the weekend?

We know that being active and spending time with other people or in nature has a profound positive impact on both our physical and mental health.

People with a learning disability may not get the same opportunities to access their local communities as those in the general population.

Here at Seemebe CIO we help to support people with a learning disability to access paid employment in their local community, leading to increased self confidence, self esteem and local support networks.

We love what we do!

Did you know??
There are many benefits of Rosehips including:
- Source of Vitamin C
- Source of Vitamin A
- Source of Vitamin D
- Source of Vitamin E
- Anti-inflammatory

While out exploring on the farm, I came across some rosehips and will turn them into a delicious cordial. Our planet is such a wonderful place and gives so much to us every day. Be grateful, it’s the only home we have 🌎

This week is Anti-Bullying Week.

A recent survey by Dimensions revealed that 1 in 5 people under 35 admit to have laughed at someone, called someone a name or avoided talking to someone completely because of their learning disability.

We've spoken to people with a learning disability who have shared their own experiences of being bullied.

📖 If you have been affected by bullying or know someone who has please visit our website for helpful resources: https://brnw.ch/21wEtyc
