Jumping Jack's Colerne Jumping Jack's is a baby and toddler group in the heart of Colerne.

We run on the last Wednesday of each month, as well as putting on weekend events throughout the year for the whole family to enjoy! We have soft play and outdoor toys, sensory play, books, dressing up, and arts&crafts... there is plenty for your little ones to get busy with ☆

We provide snacks for the little ones, and there's a constant supply of tea and coffee for the adults (and usually some cookies, too!)

JUMPING JACKS ENDING

Jumping jacks, Colerne's parent and toddler group, has been running for over 30 years. Sadly because of dwindling numbers it looks like we will have to close.

You are warmly invited to our last session on 31st July, 10:00am-12:00 at the Con Club.
Any members of the community involved with caring for children are welcome and we will have a short public meeting to help clarify:

- are we sure that no-one wants to continue the group?
- is there a way we could continue a toddler group in a different way? Does anyone have any ideas about what families with young children need in Colerne?
- if we close, what should we do with the toys and resources the group owns?
- could we donate the toys to local groups?
- should we sell the toys and donate the funds to local charities or groups? If so, which ones?

We will also have all the toys and play equipment out for the children to enjoy as usual.

Mary is running JJ solo tomorrow, so please go and support if you can 🥰 we have soft play, all the usual toys and hopefully with this lovely weather, we will be opening up the outdoor area ☀️

We are on for half term fun 🙌 Wednesday 29th, 9.45 - 11.15am in Colerne Con Club. On-site parking and plenty of things to burn off the holiday energy!

We have this part-time role available where I work to join our friendly team. The young woman is just lovely. If you know anyone who might be interested please feel free to share!

● Shifts available: Every Friday & 2 weekends per month. Start time of 2pm and approx 3.5 hours per shift.
Candidates can apply for all, one or two of the listed shift patterns.
● £13 hourly rate
● Between Calne & Chippenham, own transport essential.
● Offering warm & compassionate daily living assistance with general every day tasks including -
- food preparation
- some lightweight bedroom maintenance (hoovering/ wiping surfaces, cleaning bathroom etc)
- ensuring medication is accessible
preparing bathroom for personal care - full training given.
● Some flexibility for sickness and holiday cover is required.
Option for extra hours Working From Home batch cooking, if wanted.
